The challenge
Alphatron Marine supports shipping companies operating vessels worldwide and aims to serve them proactively. To do so, Alphatron requires global access to vessel movements and immediate notifications when changes occur. For vessels calling ports in the ARA region that require onboard service, Alphatron engineers must also be able to quickly send ISPS registration messages to the ship’s agent.
The solution
For Alphatron Marine, Royal Dirkzwager enabled the creation of multiple fleet lists within Ship2Port. Using satellite AIS, Alphatron gains global access to vessel movements, receives real-time updates and can track vessels continuously. The different fleet lists are displayed on a map and clearly distinguished by labels and colours. By integrating the ISPS registration module, Alphatron engineers can immediately announce an onboard visit to the ship’s agent.
The result
Ship2Port provides global access to Alphatron Marine’s Centres of Excellence in Houston, Singapore, Tokyo and Rotterdam, as well as all global subsidiaries. This enables Alphatron Marine to support its customers worldwide, 24/7, and deliver a reliable and proactive service.
